Day 1: Arrival in Udaipur – Welcome to the City of Lakes

Your trip will start at the day you reach Udaipur when our representative will receive you and bring you to your hotel. After arriving and taking a little break, begin your local touring. The magnificent City Palace on the borders of Lake Pichola is the first point of interest. With its gardens, balconies, and museums, the palace is a spectacular structure that offers a breathtaking perspective of the city and the lake.  On the inside, there are royal collections, miniature paintings, and architectural designs that portray the Mewar dynasty legacy.You will then visit Jagdish Temple, revered Temple with Indo-Aryan style architecture and devoted to Lord Vishnu. It is one of the spiritual landmarks of Udaipur because of its well-carved entrances and stairs made of marble. Go to Lake Pichola in the evening, take a calm boat ride (optional) and watch the tranquil scenes of lake pichola and jag mandir which are dotted by moonlight.

Day 2: Udaipur Sightseeing – Palaces, Gardens, and Local Charm

The next destination in the morning should be Udaipur, with special attention paid to the Saheliyon ki Bari, a lovely park created to accommodate the Mewar royal ladies.  This garden is characterized by the presence of marble pavilions, lotus pools, and elegant fountains which continue to run off antique hydraulic systems.The next point should be the visit to Fateh Sagar Lake that is the artificial and amazingly beautiful lake located among the hills. There is a boat ride (on payment) through which you can reach Nehru Garden situated on an island in the lake.  There is a pleasant wind to enjoy and the location is ideal for shooting. Then take a table top drive to Shilpgram, a village of arts and crafts of the region with art, textile, and culture. There are frequent exhibits where you can observe the artisan working and purchase handmade goods directly.In the afternoon, you can go to the Vintage Car Museum, which consists of classic royal vintage cars of the Maharanas of Udaipur. To have panoramic views of the city, one should visit Karni Mata temple which is situated on Machla Magra Hill. The ropeway moves you to the top where you get a panoramic view of the lakes and city.

Day 3: Udaipur to Mount Abu – Journey to the Hills

Once you have had breakfast, you would need to check out of your hotel and drive to Mount Abu, which is the only hill station in Rajasthan, and is approximately 165 kilometers away from Downtown Udaipur. As you reach Aravalli Hills, things change dramatically: dry lands, barren plains give in to the greenery, to the fertile lands and cool winds.On arrival at Mount Abu, check in at your hotel and relax. The renowned Dilwara Temples, a series of Jain temples packed with intricate architecture and marble carvings, are scheduled to be visited in the afternoon. These temples were constructed during the 11 th till 13 th century and are regarded as the masterpiece of the Indian temple architecture.Continue your tour with visiting Nakki Lake which is in the midst of Mount Abu and is encompassed by hills and mythological stories. You may have a boat ride (optional) or you could just walk by the edge of the lake. After spending the day at the lake, you should visit Sunset Point in the evening where one can have a nice view of the setting of the sun in the hills. This place is very quiet such that the air is fresh and the surroundings are a good background for photographs.

Day 4: Mount Abu to Udaipur – Return with Hilltop Memories

Have breakfast, check out of your hotel after and be ready to proceed to your onward journey to Udaipur. During the road, you can make brief pit stops at some beautiful viewpoints, or start your trip with a visit to Achalgarh Fort, which is an old historical place close to Mount Abu with ancient temples and amazing patterns in stone construction, evidence of power by the Rajput.The journey back will take about 3.5-4 hours with the sceneries of the countryside, tiny villages, and country roads, which are spiraling up in the mountains. You could also visit city roadside stalls and have tea or something to snack on during your stay in the calm countryside of Rajasthan.On reaching Udaipur, we would take you to any location of your choice depending on your further travel plans; hotel, airport or the railway station.
